The Opportunity To date the interiors team within Durham has resided within the Workplace Office and Community Studios, so this strategy allows for the creation of a “stand-alone†Workplace Interior Studio. Due to the size of the office we fully expect this position to work in conjunction with the National Workplace Practice, the Durham Community Studio, and perhaps most importantly the Durham Design Director, as we continue to expand upon our very diverse portfolio of project types. Our goal is to be the top interior architectural design practice in both the local and regional marketplace. Our twenty-five person Durham office is located in the heart of downtown Durham in the American Tobacco Historic District, in an adaptive re-use warehouse surrounded by restaurants, fitness facilities, the Bulls Athletic Park, and the Durham Performing Arts Center, approximately two miles from Duke University.
