This position is responsible to maintain the data tables and software infrastructure designed to optimize warehousing operations through varied systems. Interact with inventory analyst, planners, and management to collaborate for efficient and creative programming, extensive analysis of time measurement and process improvement ideas as relating to warehousing and inventory management software. Represents the Company in a positive image communicating and working with our employees, customers, and community in a safe and ethical manner to achieve financial success.
Must have WMS experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
This position will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the warehouse operations database tables and functionality, data mining, reporting, and cleansing information for billing and KPI reporting. Is consider a super user for all warehouse management systems (WMS) in operations including customer systems, maintains the customer SAP/WMS. Updates Customer Profile information. Coordinates physical inventory for warehouse operations. Data project management as assigned. This position will assist in the preparation of quotations, process improvement objectives, Supply Chain Strategy Solution modeling; Distribution / Transportation Network Design and Optimization modeling; SQL / Access Solutions database development and management; Analyze and Improve Business Processes; and assists in Project Management in the design and updating of client and company data base information.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates Degree and 2 years practical experience. Bachelors degree preferred. At least one year experience with systems such as SAP, JDE, Mahattan, Red Prarie or suitable warehouse management software maintenance. Excellent execution of MS office suite including Access, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and SQL programming. Must have proven track record of excellence and be self-directed.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Current driver's license, safe driving record, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Limited travel required
