The current open position is with the Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) division. The Power Systems division manufactures a wide variety of transmission, distribution, substation, OEM and telecommunications products used by utilities. In addition, HPS products are used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries. Products include construction and switching products, tools, insulators, arresters, pole line hardware, cable accessories, test equipment, transformer bushings and polymer precast enclosures and equipment pads.

HPS recognized brands include Anderson, Chance, CDR, Delmar, Electro Composites, Hipotronics, Hubbell Cable Accessories, Fargo, Ohio Brass, PCORE, Polycast, Quazite and USCO with combined service to customers for more than 100 years with quality, innovative products.

Job Description:
SUMMARY: The Recruiting Generalist is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. This position is a mix of tactical execution of our current year recruiting and staffing plans; as well as, someone who can develop an overall recruiting strategy to include succession planning, acquisitions and external sources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute recruiting plans for all Business Units.

Manage and assess current Recruiting Process Outsourcing (RPO), which supports four Business Units.

Work with HR contacts and RPO Manager to ensure transparency and accuracy in the recruiting process.

Assist in screening potential employees: performing reference background checks, interviewing, preparing and sending offer packages.

Conduct regular meetings and follow-up sessions with managers to determine recruiting planning, the effectiveness of recruiting plans, and implementation.

Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.

Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees

Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally.

Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives.

Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings.

Administrative duties and recordkeeping such as the origination of Job Requisitions in SuccessFactors and managing the recruiting dashboard â€" cycle time, cost per hire, retention, diversity and quality of hire.

REQUIREMENTS:
BS Degree.

Experienced with external exempt placements with a focus on technical skill sets.

Experience working with an RPO.

3-5 years of recruiting experience with some HR generalist background is preferred.

Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors is preferred.

Excellent personal networking skills.

Able to research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

Must have excellent communication skills.

Self-starter, strong sense of urgency, and results-oriented.
