Job Title: Patient Observer Dept Name: Supplemental Staffing Team Location: Greenville Memorial Hospital Full/Part: Time PRN/Floatpool Shift: 4 or 8 hours as needed Minimum Hourly Base Rate 8.77 Job Number: 2012-0015 Job Description: Assumes responsibility for constant patient one-on-one observation and ensures patient's safety while actively preventing self-harm or harm to others. Assists with meeting limited patient needs under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Job Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent with course work beyond high school to include a SC CNA certification or in lieu of SC CNA Certification, students continuously enrolled in an approved school of Nursing program such as a (ADN or BSN) who have completed first semester of clinicals. Minimum Experience: No previous experience required Experience in acute inpatient hospital or long term care facility is preferred.
