Fluor has significant US Government Contracts primarily with the DOE and DOD and has a current opening for a Senior Counsel in Greenville, South Carolina wth the following job responsibilities:

  • Serve as the principal subject matter expert for FGG on international trade compliance matters, including export control, import control, anti-boycott, and sanctions regulations; and as principal subject matter expert for Fluor Corporation on ITAR matters.
  • Review and advise on international trade activities and develop and cooperate in the implementation of proactive strategies to enhance effective trade compliance.
  • Interpret and disseminate information on proposed or actual trade controls legislation and regulations.
  • Provide legal representation before governmental authorities on trade related matters, including voluntary disclosures to applicable reg! ulators.
  • Manage investigation, reporting, and remedia! tion of international trade legal issues, including regulatory issues.
  • Support the development and conduct of training on international trade matters.
  • Support and assist FGG in aligning its processes and procedures to international trade best practices, including assessment of business unit compliance.
  • Advise on issues relating to obtaining and performing contracts with federal government agencies.
