A leading manufacturer of nonwoven industrial products is looking for a Sales Engineer for one of their most profitable divisions. The location is near Aike! n, SC. The Sales Engineer will help identify, analyze and develop new business accounts, as well as manage and grow existing accounts. This position reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing and will be involved in the development of domestic and global marketing and business plans. A 4-year degree from an accredited university is required, along with at least 5 years of sales engineering experience in nonwoven textiles, filtration or a related industry. Degrees in Textile Engineering, Business or similar are preferred. Some exposure to marketing practices would be beneficial. Extensive travel (around 40%) can be expected, with some international travel required. Candidates must be able to communicate well with customers, internal managers and co-workers at all levels. Candidates should also have the technical acumen to be able to learn and present technical products, processes and applications. Some relocation assistance is available, but candidates from South Carolina or n! earby states are encouraged to apply. Visa sponsorship is not ! available for this position.
