Bachelor's Degree in information systems management, higher education,! business technology or a related field and three years experience required. (Master's preferred). Previous experience demonstrating proficiency in applied statistical research and data analysis, preferably in higher education or a related setting. Familiarity with data mining for higher education/enrollment related needs, statistical analysis, database management and related products and applications. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Requires strong analytical, statistical and research abilities. Understanding of methods and techniques of data extraction, analysis and reporting. Experience with predictive modeling using logistic regression or similar statistical techniques. Knowledge of relational databases. Proficient with Microsoft Access and Excel. Experience using reporting software tools (Cognos preferred) for student information retrieval. Advan! ced knowledge of College Board and ACT products (EPS, Student ! Search, AP, ASQ, ACT EOS). Familiarity with BANNER, Salesforce CRM tools/platform and related software programs highly desired. Ability to train others to use software and technology. Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work well under strict deadlines and have exceptional attention to detail. Must understand the significance of maintaining data integrity and confidentially with student records; knowledge of FERPA regulations required.
Additional Comments Regarding Position
Limited overnight travel may be required to attend professional development conferences and meetings. Some weekend and evening activities may be required.
