We are currently seeking a Barista.
This job ensures service standards are met and surpassed by creating the Starbucks Experience for your customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.
Job Requirements:
Delivers Legendary Service to all customers by acting with a "customer comes first" attitude and connecting with the customer.
Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Discover customer needs and appropriately suggests product with every customer to enhance service and meet your sales goals.
Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and! whole bean sales (as applicable).
Maintains customer serv! ice area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.
Provides quality beverages, such as espresso drinks and Coffee of the Week, Whole Bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products.
Performs equipment maintenance in accordance with preventive maintenance checklist.
Follows cash handling and register policies.
Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines.
Learns and demonstrates creating the Starbucks Experience.
Completes Initial Store Training and passes barista certification with a score of 90% or better.
Required Experience and Skills:
Ability to work varied hours/days including nights, weekends and holidays, including opening and closing store
Ability to provide outstanding guest service
Ability communicate with guests, employees, and leadership
Ability to rea! d, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
Ability on and/or a willingness to learn to use computers
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise, which entails lifting (up to 65 lbs), bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, and performing all functions as set forth above
Exposure to cold/hot, cleaning chemicals, solvents, machinery, cutting saws, sharp objects, raw food handling, and moderate noise levels.
Use of phone, computers, and consistent use of the register/keyboard
