Serve as a Lead Mobile Developer/Architect and Technical Team Leader driving a highly visible cross-platform Mobile SaaS initiative for our client in New York, NY. You will have an opportunity to wor! k for a global leader in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology providing market intelligence, data, and technology solutions to Financial Services firms within the Global Investment Banking/Capital Markets, including Sell-Side clients, Publicly Traded firms, and Buy-Side Institutional Clients. This software is used for new issuance through ongoing investor management. These SaaS solutions drive connectivity and efficiency throughout all stages of the capital-raising process. Our client is a global firm supporting clients in every major financial center around the world.
As the Lead Mobile Developer/Architect you will be responsible for creating the overall architecture of this state of the art cross-platform Mobile solution, perform the design and layout of the mobile platform for the firm's different Financial Services businesses. Heavy focus in determining the execution of our client's mobile efforts for designated financial products. Interact with business managers! to gather requirements, to prioritize important features and ! content for mobile platform releases, and collaborate with key stake holders across various Financial and IT divisions, including product managers and developers.
Responsibilities include: Lead by example and provide work allocation to mobile software engineering team Design, code, execute and manage mobile solutions, including new requirements and enhancements Work closely with mobile product owners and creative UI/UX designers for quick prototyping Partner with product owners on feasibility of new concepts and vendor assessments Bridge gaps between product owners and larger software development team by considering priorities of both divisions in an effort to fast track solutions to market Coordinate interaction with other application teams
Qualifications: Must have 5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer, Web Developer and/or Applications Programmer Analyst performing C# and ASP.NET Web API development Requires 2+ years of Mobile applic! ations architecture experience with 2-5 years of strong hands-on Mobile applications programming experience. Requires a minimum of 1-2 full project life cycle project implementations using HTML5, Sencha Touch, ODATA, and REST required. 3-5 years of SOA experience required Must have experience building and managing reliable cross platform native and web based mobile software in a service oriented environment. Experience operating software at high-scale and reliability with SLA's preferred Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to lead projects from concept through deployment is required. Experience in people management, work allocation and technical team lead of small sized development teams, while still remaining in a hands-on coding role.
