Location: Greensboro North Carolina

Description: Trench Safety is at present looking to employ Training Coordinator right now, this position will be placed in North Carolina. Responsible for the administrative support and documentation of training and development programs provided for customers by trench safety personnel. The Training ! Coordinator will primarily be responsible for maintaining web page information, and communicating and monitoring regional training efforts using a variety of means including email messages, conference calls, and other company systems as necessary. Assisting the training team may also be required to finalize the layout of program materials that support job-specific technical training and other educational offerings.

Primary Job Duties/Tasks
1. Trench CPT/CST public class scheduling, OSR communication, web page updates (60+ hours/month)
o Post new branch classes to web site
o Maintain website registration spreadsheets
o Rearrange class schedules based on trainer schedules and availability
2. Order manuals and certificates, manage inventory of class materials (4 hours/month)
o Fine tune the layout of training materials
o Revise PowerPoint presentations for trainers and managers
3. Monitor CEU applications and ICEPT paperwork (4 hours/mo! nth)
4. Primary contact for customer registration, access,! and billing through Taleo. (24+ hours/month)
o Provide help desk functions, create certificates when needed
o Audit class billing for errors
o Interface with Taleo programmers
5. Work with the Regional Sales and Marketing Directors, district training staff, and various subject matter experts. (4+ hours/month)
o Run regional training reports to monitor compliance with eLearning requirements
o Assist with special projects when needed

Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in a related field preferred.

  • More than two years of related administrative experience in a business setting.
  • Project management experience, preferably in a training environment.
  • Knowledge and ability to monitor training in multiple media including live classroom training, WebEx, and eLearning.
  • Excellent PC skills, with a high level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ELM systems.
  • Must be a strong team player ! with the ability to organize, prioritize, handle time constraints and manage shifting priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of the theories, concepts, and standards applicable to adult learning.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proofreading skills, attention to detail.
  • Sitting at a desk and working at a computer in an office environment.
  • Occasional lifting items of up to 10 lbs; infrequent lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Infrequent travel may be requested, not likely to exceed 5% of the time.
