Role Summary:
Manages QA resources in the delivery of clusters of QA projects in multiple fun! ctional spaces. Contributes to and manages strategic planning within QA and in support of IT and corporate initiatives. Manages staff assignments, project schedules, risks, budget, metrics and continuous improvement. Quality Managers work closely with Enterprise Release Management, Development and Business to effectively manage release deliveries.
Responsibilities:
Direct, motivate and develop staff through coaching and mentoring so as to maximize their individual contributions, professional growth and ability to function effectively as a team
May be accountable for managing human capital management functions which may include: recruitment, development, mobility, performance objective setting, performance evaluations, promotions and terminations
Ensure that performance objectives established for each employee align with IT and firm strategies and priorities and individual development objectives
Ensure projects/programs and orga! nization align with the business and IT strategies

Build trusted advisor relationship by partnering with clients and across IT to best achieve business and IT priorities and objectives
Contribute, negotiate, deliver and manage to assigned budget
Plan and utilize resources proactively and efficiently
Staffs projects with appropriately-skilled resources
Manage a team of Quality Analysts and test resources within their functional area of responsibility
Assign projects within functional area of responsibility to the appropriate
Identify and manage release level QA requirements and ensure QA readiness for release testing
Ensure that all QA work products are delivered accordingly to plan (scope, cost and schedule)
Identify and communicate risks during test planning and execution and identify contingency needs
Manage overall release test execution and contingency planning for test plan variances
P! roactively communicate and collaborate with project teams, test teams, support partners and IT leadership
Participate in improvement initiatives and strategic planning
Responsible for overall release level QA test management and metric provisioning for QA test activities
Responsible for release level QA status reporting Qualifications
Required Skills:
In depth knowledge of Financial Services
Experience with QC and Qlikview
Experience with test automation
Testing with a vendor
