Our client, a $2 billion dollar, hundred year old company in the consumer product and manufacturing industry is looking for a Senior Financial Planner & Analyst. The Senior Financial Planner & Analyst will provide planning and financial analytic support to the Consumer Products Division. Influence business decisions via a variety of financial, economic, and statistical analyses. Analyze and interpret com! pany and industry trends and financial information. Prepare fo! recasts and financial plans. The position will support the CPD operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: partnering with the mill operations team to initiate cost opportunities and provide analytical support for initiatives; working closely with the mill operations teams to generate bi weekly mill forecasts at the Line of Business level; and providing month end reporting, analytics and support to responsible mills, which includes monthly overview to the mill leadership team.
To be a hero in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related discipline (MBA preferred), 5+ years of experience in planning, marketing, distribution, operations, and financial analysis; must have manufacturing experience; have the ability to work independently and effectively; be able to think critically; demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to ! all levels of management to motivate others and sell ideas; as well as have the ability to work with large data sets. Up to 25% travel required.
