We
are looking for a senior level Software Developer to be a member of our
product development team for Republic Wireless. If you’re a passionate
coder, a fantastic troubleshooter, and an enthusiastic co-worker with a
passion for delighting users, this position is for you!
The
Software Developer will work in the product development team and will
focus on both feature development as well as sustaining existing
products.
Primary Responsibilities:

- Develop new features for core communications platform · I! ncrease performance and scale for existing platform · Extend core platform to support new services · Work with QA team to resolve issues · Help troubleshoot and fix issues escalated from customer service teams · Willingness to mentor/coach junior developers/team members
- Strong development skills including knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) fundamentals and design patterns · Ability to work in a team environment · Strong self-motivation and willingness to tackle challenging problems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent course of study · 5 years+ of development experience Java, C++, Erlang, or equivalent programming language · Experience working in a Linux development and deployment environment · Use or knowledge of cloud based deployments/architecture; SaaS · Desired knowledge of communications and messaging protocols; VOIP an added bonus
