Palmetto Summerville Behavioral Health is a 66-bed Residential
Treatment Center and offers quality behavioral health services
to adolescents ages 7-17 with sexually reactive behaviors,
substance abuse problems, and psychiatric, behavioral, or conduct
issues.
We are seeking a Director of Nursing who is inspired by a
challenging and rewarding experience to direct and manage the Nursing
Department in the delivery of quality nursing services effectively
integrating nursing care into the patients' interdisciplinary
treatment program.
Req! uirements
Must be a licensed RN in SC in good standin! g
Must have demonstrated experience with adolescents or the
behavioral health population
Must have recent nursing management experience
Must have strong verbal and written skills as a primary
channel of communication for physicians, therapists, caseworkers, and
program managers
Must have effective organizational skills
Must have the ability to work creatively both as a leader and
a supportive team member
Must have extensive clinical knowledge to provide
guidance in the assessment and evaluation of patients.
Must have thorough insite into regulatory requirements for
JCAHO and Tricare in the operation of the Nursing Dept.
Must be proficient in writing policies and procedures for
nursing compliance
