Johnson & Johnson Medical Caribbean, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Jr. Sales Representative for its Endovascular and Cardiovascular Medical Devices & Diagnostics business, located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The Jr. Sales Representative will provide service for all the Puerto Rico territory, representing our Cordis line of medical devices for Endovascular, Cardiovascular, & will support Carto 3 ! cases (Biosense Webster).

Johnson & Johnson Medical C! aribbean - PR Marketing Division of Johnson & Johnson International, Guaynabo, is the sales and marketing organization for Johnson & Johnson professional products such as sutures and surgical equipment, products for the prevention of infections and injuries in the operating room, cardiovascular products, and diagnostic equipment.

The Jr. Sales Representative will promote Cardiovascular Care products and train clients about their clinical and technical characteristics. Provide professional clinical support to customers (primarily physicians, nurses, and techs) or indirect sales channel force, through education and training regarding CARTO three dimensional, electro-anatomical mapping system as well as other accessory equipment. Establishes specific sales objectives aligned to the business strategy, business selling action plans and specific strategies for the accounts. Have ownership of accounts to develop technical procedures, operative and educational selling and ! promotions actions. Will attend procedures and have a constant and direct contact with the customer, give technical and professional support. He or she will handle customer questions and objections in a way that is consistent with product indications and sales training methodology. Execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and which leads the customer to action. The selected candidate will target accounts and achieve results through a daily action plan. Interact with other franchises representatives to obtain information about collections and key buyers.Identify commercial needs, opportunities, weaknesses and strengths of the franchise to improve the business and to propose initiatives and solutions and optimize sales. Identify potential customers by evaluating their clinical and economic needs. Keep updated in product information, launching of products and procedures by constantly study training material, reading product awareness report! s, assist to congresses and more. Establish strong relationships with c! ustomers, obtain feedback, understand their needs and maintain adequate service levels by providing high level customer support and on- going communication. Monitor the competition, strengthen relationships with all key players this includes (Staffing , Administration, Finance , Purchase Dept , etc from institutions Provide marketing intelligence information to the sales organization. Support the inventory management and planning.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Health Related field, Engineer Biotechnological, Biomedical or related fields, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business, with experience in the cardiology/cardiovascular, electrophisyologist or medical device industry are required. Cardio stimulation experience preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in sales is required. Sales experience in medical devices, is preferred. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point is required. Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) is require! d. Able to work flexible hours. Able to work in an operating room environment required. Willing to travel long distances around the island is required. Availability to travel outside PR required. Must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Self-starter with strong time management and planning skills. A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record are required.
