Director of Sales [Malaysia]


 

Director of Sales for the Zenith Cameron and Zenith Kuantan.
- To be based at Putrajaya HQ office
- Scheduled visits to both properties

Job Main Responsibilities :

Operational

  • To ensure achievement and planned sales objectives
  • To be responsible for the efficient functioning of the sales and marketing department through the management process of administrating, planning, organizing and executing, controlling and innovating, guiding and counseling.
  • Set the process boundaries for hotel sales activity in this segment and assist direct sales strategy at hotel level to ensure that revenue is being solicited on a common platform of excellence by all related hotel based sales people in the different hotels.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships and seek opportunities to self-profile along with The Zenith Hotel Putrajaya within industry bodies, local community and associations.

Revenue Plan

  • Develop and responsible for the Annual Marketing Plan, Budget and Forecasts for approval by the General Manager.

Market Coverage

  • Formulate a comprehensives sales territory/market coverage plan for all sales personnel. To ensure that weekly sales calls itinerary and daily sales reports are submitted and met by sales personnel for the various market segments.
  • Coordinate all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume. This includes advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, special sales projects, etc.

Job Requirements :

1. Posses SPM/ STPM/ Diploma/ Degree/Master/PHD and any equivalent in related field to this position
2. At least 5 years of 4 or 5 star hotel management working experiences
3. A strong base of sales and customers network in this industry
