Mainframe Developer
Location: Warsaw, Poland, Remote, 1 day per week in the office
Job Summary:
The primary person responsible will be able to deliver the required changes as per the requirement provided by the business teams. Should be able to come up with technical solution, manage/ guide the team for developing and testing the solution, and coordinate with biz/ops and other technology teams wherever required.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
The following skills are required to be successful in performing this position: Experience in software development:
- At least4 years of experience in Mainframe, CICS, COBOL, PLI, DB2 & JCL Skills
- At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle: independently design, build and deploy major technical changes
- At least 4 years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
- Certifications in Life & Annuity
- Experience and understanding of Production support and performance engineering.
- Ability to work in a team environment and client interfacing skills.
- Analytical skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Have worked in Life Insurance domain
- Nice to have Knowledge on Web service and mainframe utilities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field
- Utilising multiple technology areas within “MS Azure” and has extensive knowledge of the use and impact of technology transformations
- Excellent skills in ARM and/or Terraform
- Understanding of Subscriptions, Resource Groups, Azure Polices & Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Experience implementing Hub-Spoke network topologies, Virtual Network (vNET) peering, Network Security Groups (NSG), Public IP addresses (PIP), Site-to-Site VPN and Azure load-balancers
- Working across both waterfall and agile cloud migrations and cloud transformational projects
- Fluent in English
