We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Social Media Manager with an appetite for building remarkable brand-level stories and getting the Clients message out in-market.
The role will report into the Head of Growth and be responsible for driving content marketing metrics on the platform across all major social platforms such as Tiktok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Research and write scripts or copy for social media and website content
- Brainstorm ideas, digital and in-market activity to boost Thenga’s social media presence
- Plan and execute pipeline for social media content
- Create short form video content (Tik Tok, Instagram Reels)
- Work with the marketing department to get an understanding of the short term and long term marketing targets and then develop content strategies accordingly
- Analyse hot trending topics and create content to keep Thenga involved in the local conversation
- Keep the core team appraised of customer feedback, learning
- Measuring and monitoring company website and social media traffic statistics
- Respond to incoming customer communication
- Work closely with digital designer and video team to bring content vision to life
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- 2 Years + Experience writing creative social media content creation experience or a proven track record (e.g. Instagram account with 10K+ followers)
- Minimum Undergraduate degree, or final year student in a reputable University
- Impeccable Urdu and English language skills, additional languages are a plus
- Understand what makes good marketing/digital content and have prior experience making it yourself
- Basic short form video creation experience
- You must be deeply familiar with Tiktok, Instagram and Youtube and Twitter
- Prior experience with content production/writing for websites, startups, tech companies or local brands
- Comfortable with flexible working hours. This role will require you to liaise with our team in the US at a regular basis
- Based in Lahore (Remote role, office space can be provided if needed)

Salary: From Rs60,000.00 per month
