Catawba Valley Medical Center, a three time designated Magnet hospital, is in the process of expanding our staff in preparation for the opening of our new Women's Pavilion. A state of the art facility housing the Birthing Center as well as a C-Section surgical suite reflects Catawba's commitment to the community it serves. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be supported by an outstanding team including excellent physician support, a Charge Nurse who does not carry an assignment, in-house anesthesia and in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioners who can be called to any high risk delivery as needed. We offer state of the art electronic documentation in OB Trace Vu, a specialty system for L & D nurses as well as telemetry monitoring.
All in a cozy suite designed to reflect the familiar comforts of home. Day or night shifts available. We offer tuition reimbursement, repayment for certification, and in-house fetal monitoring courses.
