Utility Engineer

For complete informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. Responsible for the sub-project Utilities in a Greenfield project for an erection of a tire plant. Planning and managing of energy & infrastructure projects for Greenfield plants
- Defining concept for medias steam, compressed air, water, sewage water, cold water, exhaust air, HVAC, fire detection & extinction systems, electricity and vacuum and also infrastructure equipment like cranes, elevators and truck weight scales.
- Defining the necessary equipment according to the consumption of the process machinery
- Creation of machine specifications and leading of technical negotiations with suppliers
- Checking the quality of the equipment and the time schedule for delivery
- Supervise installation onsite
- Start-up of the systems
- Driving acceptance checks of the equipment.
Verifying of capital requests
Analyzing the applied technology for the supply, production and consumption of steam, compressed air, water, sewage water, cold water, exhaust air, HVAC, fire detection & extinction systems, electricity and vacuum in the tire plants
Ablation and identification of improvements and realization
Managing and initiation of projects for energy saving
Planning and managing of optimization projects in tire plants
Requirements:
Degree in technical studies (mechanical or process engineering; University/TU/Master/FH/Bachelor)
At least 7 years of experience in the area of energy
English fluently (german is good, but no requirement)
Proficient in MS Office and CAD-Software
Adaptability to other cultures, capability to negotiate and to operate in different cultures
Project management experience, drive, analytical thinking and result orientation, team spirit and interaction
High willingness to travel
NOTE - The job posted is assigned an initial Hay Grade of 11. This initial job grade will increase by one level, with the approval of the Tire Board, when the plant completes its' ramp up cycle and reaches a production volume level of one million tires per year. Based on current business projections, we anticipate that this will occur approximately twelve (12) months after the start of production.
