Description: Wireless Generation Inc. is at the momment seeking for Senior iOS Developer right now, this job will be placed in North Carolina. Wireless Generation, Inc. is looking for a seasoned iOS developer that can lead our mobile application development in the New Curriculum division. The Senior iOS Developer will work! closely with product, design, and architecture teams to design and build an iOS application architecture and tools library. This job will entail identifying and implementing best practices in the development of mobile iOS applications, as well as mentoring less experienced developers.
This position may be funded, in whole or in part, through American Recovery & Reinvestment Act funds

Responsibilities
As part of a cross-functional software team, you'll be commissioned with delivering new and innovative platforms, products, and/or product functions for schools, districts, and states across the country Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, high-quality software for our wireless tablet technology platform and full suite of products Contribute to continuous improvement of software development best practices in the areas of coding tools, languages and APIs, as well as softw! are design and development processes Other specific responsibi! lities vary by project area and experience, but may include technical leadership of a software project team
Experience
7-8 years of professional software development experience 2-4 years of experience in iOS tablet and/or other device development. Proven technical leadership experience in a professional environment, including ownership and delivery of a sizable product or product component Experience with Object Oriented Programming in Objective-C Experience with automated test frameworks such as UI Automation Experience with memory management and maximization of system resources to allow applications to run on phones and tablets Experience with interactive games is a big plus
Skills
Strong fundamentals (OO, algorithms, data structures) Fluency in at least another OO or scripting language such as Python, C++, Java, or Ruby Advanced front-end skills with native tablet applications
Education
BS/MS in Computer Science or eq! uivalent
