Provide customer service and support.
Functions as a primary resource in handling pharmacy / pharmacist conta! cts via telephone ranging from routine to complex, regarding insurance authorization, benefits, claims, and general assistance.
Deliver the highest quality customer service through the execution of responsiveness, reliability, assurance/confidence, accuracy, and professionalism on every pharmacy/pharmacist interaction in a fast-paced call center.
Job Description/Skills:
Respond to inbound pharmacy/customer calls.
Performs duties related to the resolution of adjudicated prescription claims with regards to member eligibility, benefit parameters applied, determination of prior authorization or overrides and exceptions in the system.
Must complete calls expeditiously, accurately and in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills.
Experience using Internet, Windows applications (Word, Excel) and eMail services (Outlook)
Excellent verbal com! munication skills (vocabulary and articulation)
Abili! ty to express assurance/confidence and empathy.
Ability to work a flexible schedule; may require holiday and weekends;
Easily adaptable to change
Must have prior voice experience in a call center environment.
Previous pharmaceutical or medical experience preferred.
Hours of Operation:
7 days a week 6am to 11pm Monday through Saturday and Sunday 8am to 11pm
Hours will be expanding to nights; Must be able to work Nights and Weekends
