Location: Salisbury, NC
Responsibilities:
Responsible for screenprint activities-run! ning signs, distribution of signs, memos etc. to be courteous to fellow employees and all others with whom they may come in contact in the course of the work day.
- Prepare signs to be screen printed. (Coating screens, mixing emulsions, shooting screens, etc.)
- Responsible for running signs and clean up (Providing paper, checking quality of print, cleaning screen of excess ink tape, and etc.)
- Handle light maintenance in the Sign Department. (Stretching new screen and light maint. on screen press).
- Distribution of weekly screen printed signs to the Mail Room. (Rolling up and distribution of signs, and cutting, or collating of signs)
- Handle sign requests that comes to the dept
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Sign Department and helping other areas as needed.
Experience:
- High School degree or equivalent
- Preferred experience - screen printing background
- Ability to access and utilize computer software !
- Artistic ability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to handle hand tools and ability to operate screenprinter, copier, stapler, etc.
- Exposure to chemicals as well a noisy environment.
