Develop marketing strategy and plans to profitably promote and sell managed solutions products for high sales! volume along customer spectrum with a heavy emphasis on Private Asset Management and Trust. The marketing manager is responsible for supporting design of product concepts, conducting research, providing insight into customer needs and desires around the product and developing sales strategies that meet the company's revenue goals. Will work with other departments in the company such as product management, wealth management, Trust, legal, marketing analytics and distribution partners to ensure customer experience and product marketing strategies are developed to the satisfaction of the company.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop the Strategic Marketing Plan including metrics and oversee the Plan execution to deliver the expected results from both a campaign and business as usual activity perspective.
- Oversee integrated marketing plans and campaigns; ensuring all elements of a project plan and overall campaign are executed on time and on bud! get.
- Actively manage marketing communications resourc! es, as well as directly manage external agency support. .
- Coordinate with functional “Subject Matter Experts/Centers of Excellence†to ensure communications are delivering against organization goals as well as for accuracy.
- Direct the work of the Agencies or internal resources to ensure optimal utilization of resources, time, money, and effort during the execution of essential tactics.
- Collaborate with key decision-makers and influencers to build relationship, provide marketing expertise, and uncover new business opportunities, risks, and develop short and long term solutions. Act as a member of the business lines' leadership teams, contributing marketing perspective and marketing and communications strategies that support business goals and objectives.
- Work closely with Managed Solutions and Trust distribution and sales teams on customer experience including tools, communications and sales aides needed for goal attainment.
- W! ork with various business units (Web, Brand, Marketing, business integration) to enable a more centralized view and appropriate distribution of integrated marketing marketing efforts.
- Manage product marketing budget to support segment goals. Analyze and report on effectiveness of marketing initiatives to business partners and propose recommendations on future strategies. Monitor market trends and competitors to develop effective marketing strategies.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong marketing generalist whose skills include an understanding of product, segment and lifecycle based marketing and communications strategies, project management, customer analytics, tracking, and reporting
- Understand multi-channel and segment marketing with solid knowledge of Trust distribution channels
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Solid knowledge of financial products and ! services, especially within managed account solutions, Private Asset Ma! nagement and Trust
- Extremely strong management skills, navigating a significant workload with minimal resources. Constantly re-assessing priorities due to organizational and market shifts
- Proven ability to influence key decision-makers and others where no direct reporting relationship exists
- Successful experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, forecasting and attaining objectives in a metrics driven environment
- Strategic thinker with planning and execution abilities
- 8+ years related financial marketing and business experience
- 5+ years experience within managed solutions marketing
- BA or equivalent, MA or MBA preferred
