Vacation Planner

Description: Greenwood Communities and Resorts is employing Vacation Planner right now, this position will be placed in South Carolina. This pos! ition is responsible for “up selling†and booking accommodations and amenities as it relates to the guest’s total experience. Department Resort Sales Job Type Year-Round Status Part-Time Requirements This position shall maintain exceptional customer service and have the ability to provide that service to all guests. Essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Reserve tee-times, activities and accommodations while offering the customer the best “first impression†possible by providing impeccable service. Ability to complete RFP’s (request for proposals). Up-sell merchandise, certificates, lessons and any other services/items offered at Palmetto Dunes. Follow up with all guests. Work on special projects with Reservations Manager. Assume other duties as assigned by Reservations Manager. Track all volume on lead tracking sheets.
Requirements include the following: Excellent customer service skills. Sales background ! preferred. Strong understanding of phone etiquette. Should be ! knowledgeable and educated on areas of Hilton Head, Palmetto Dunes and all areas of golf. Computer experience recommended. (Familiar with Microsoft Word, and Excel)
