Assoc Media Marketing Rep

Description: Charter Communications is hiring Assoc Media Marketing Rep right now, this position will be placed in South Carolina. Responsible for all sales support materials and information within a specific ad sales office, including co-op vendors, research, promotions, and marketing. Works collab! oratively with marketing managers and other marketing representatives to drive priorities, guide research trends and practices and provide up-to-date analytics to provide the greatest impact to our internal and external customers.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Designs and coordinates the implementation of ad sales promotions and customize as necessary to include: printing of materials, requesting of mail lists/advertiser arrangements, communicating plans to other departments as needed.
Assists in the creation of collateral material that supports organizational objective and ensure brand adherence in all initiatives and communications by promoting the Charter Media brand.
Coordinates with systems to provide training to sales staff for current and future promotions.
Assists with the preparation of materials and supplies for al! l sales and marketing meetings regarding promotions and market! ing initiatives.
Controls expenses by monitoring pricing of vendors, checking invoices, and making payment arrangements.
Coordinates with Sales Managers to obtain necessary information from billing to track areas that need additional assistance, special attention, and/or extra training.
Manages all incoming and outgoing inventory to include: ensuring necessary forms are completed and approvals are obtained as needed, materials are shipped in a timely manner.
Develops and oversees the implementation of co-op and vendor goals and programs, then measure results.
Tracks contests and incentives .
Creates custom client presentations to include specific programming opportunities based upon client appeal for Account Executives to discuss with their clients.
Assists with logistics, planning and execution of internal and external events as needed
Oversees and updates Channel Line Up (CLU) database as neede! d. Communicate channel line-ups, changes, and updates as necessary.
Monitors taggable commitments, write up orders/production requests and confirm advertiser approval on a weekly basis.
Reviews all house account affadavits, pull log history times in Eclipse, save files and update networks on spot commitments on a monthly basis.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills /Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE NUMBER OF YEARS
Marketing and/or advertising experience 1-2
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field or equivalent experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a ! clear and straightforward manner including creative writing skills

Knowledge of cable television products and services/media advertising
Intermediate knowledge of graphics software and desk-top publishing
