STG has been working in operations and maintenance of financial systems with our Department of State customer in Charleston, South Carolina for over 1! 0 years. We now have an exciting and challenging opportunity to work on a new global payroll system. For this reason we are looking for individuals who are up to this challenge and willing to learn how payroll is implemented globally in over 175 countries and over 135 currencies.

Responsibilities:
Monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting financial system software, specifically Global Foreign Affairs Compensation System (GFACS) North American and Global PeopleSoft Payroll system.
Researches, designs, develop and modify code, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Involved in planning of system enhancements ! and deployment. Works on troubleshooting and fixing programmin! g bugs. Involved in building reports. Adheres to software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
