Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Newberry South Carolina
Description: Kudzu Staffing is looking of Industrial Maintenance Technician right now, this vacancy will be placed in South Carolina. Requirement(s): Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Work & Excel); Strong verbal communication skills; 2 year technical degree or comparable background of w! ork related experience in at least one technical area such as Industrial Electricity, Electronics (including PLC), Industrial Mechanical, Facilities Maintenance; experience in multiple technical areas (as describe above) or several years of job related experience, robotics and automotive background highly preferred. (Siemens PLC, Siemens HMI, Rexroth Indramat controls, Allen Bradley PLC, RSlogix5000, WinCC, Step 7 Software). Experience with printing and cutting machines is a plus. This is a permanent placement position.
Key position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Promotes safe environment at all times
Identifies hazards and provides solutions
Analyzes problems and identifies root causes; implements corrective measures
Conducts preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and improvements for manufacturing equipment in a production environment
Perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment which include! s robotics, presses, converting machines, HVAC and supporting ! equipment
Implements processes and equipment fixes for short and long term issues
Conducts safety and audits
Follows and ensures safety precautions are observed
Identifies potential risk areas
Assesses situations to maintain specifications, standards to achieve work completion
Follows up to ensure work is accomplished and meets specifications.
Maintains high ethical standards both personally and professionally when committing to action
Makes firm and timely decisions and with limited information if necessary
Conveys information from shift-to-shift, accurately accounting for shift activities
Uses appropriate mechanisms to report safety and quality issues/concerns
Leads crew meetings, communicating daily production objectives/changes
Completes shift reports and logs at the end of each shift
