Job Summary
Interviews incoming patients in a non-hospital setting to obtain and enter necessary personal, financial, insurance, and/or other medical information necessary for claims processing.

Essential Functions

• Processes and maintains records.
• Functions as switchboard operator, procedure scheduler or clerical support as assigned.
• Responds to emergencies following departmental processes.
• Assists in meeting department goals and arrival accuracy.
• Assists radiology coders with document scanning.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Works in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions.

Education, Experience and Certifications!
High School Diploma or GED required.
