Location: Reidville South Carolina

Production Employees at Duer/Carolina Coil perform a wide variety of tasks in the production of steel coil springs weighing up to 1000 pounds.

This posting is for 2nd or 3rd Shift Production Employees only. Please do not complete the application unless you are willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift long term in a hot environment.

DUTIES

These tasks include:

• Loading and unloading Machines
• Using Hoists, cranes and forklifts
• Running Shotpeens and hydraulic presses
• Packing springs for shipment
• Checking spring dimensions with rulers, micrometers and squares
• General material handling and assisting qualified operators in their jobs
• Cleaning and organizing
• Demonstrating safe work behaviors

Employees must be able and willing to work in the following work environment:

• Participate as part of a production team
• Handle tasks required changing on a daily or more frequent basis
• Work in a production cell with multiple machines and products
• Learn from peers and other production emplo! yees
• Work within the structure of a ISO 9001 quality ! system
• Work permanently on the shift assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in the above tasks is not required. Duer/Carolina Coil will provide training for all new employees.

Qualifications Include

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent math skills including the ability to understand fractions, decimals, and reading rulers and other measuring tools
• Ability to stand for up to eight hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times in an hour.
• Ability to tolerate extremes in temperature from freezing to over 100 F.

These tasks include:
