is a multi-plant tier #1 supplier to the automotive
industry. The company is stable and growing rapidly.
They are seeking a key team player in to be an important
part of the Quality Assurance team. This is a hands-on
role with emphasis on establishing and upgrading quality
systems. Current systems are TS16949 compliant. As a
Quality Engineer prime focus will be developing a
quality oriented environment and developing the systems
and procedures/processes that will insure compliance to
standards. This position requires energy and drive to be
part of the overall Management team. Thi! s position will
work closely with production to monitor qu! ality and
investigate deviations. Prime importance is to be able
to recommend solutions and changes that will correct any
deviations and prevent them in the future. The ability
to implement change and support new programs is an
absolute must. This position will have direct customer
interface and will serve as a resource for Production.

responsibility will be quality assurance activities to
insure quality standards for production. You will be
involved with problem solving and customer
communications. This is a manufacturing operation and
experience with multi-department operations is required.
Responsibilities are geared toward development ! of
quality programs, procedures and work environments to
make quality a top daily priority. The ideal candidate
will have a strong quality background and the expertise
to gain the support and cooperation of others in an
automotive supplier operation. Responsibilities include
communication, follow-up, monitoring, development of
systems/programs and administration /interpretation of
these programs. There will be contact with vendors and
customers. Ability to resolve conflicts in a
constructive manner and proven ability to promote
teamwork. REQUIREMENTS: The Company requires a minimum
four-year BS technical degree and a minimum of 7 years
related experience. The company will also consider an
entry level QA individual with 2-3 years experience in a
manufacturing Quality role. The company will then train
the individual with Company specific quality procedures.
Experienced Qualified candidates will have a ! strong
technical background in manufacturing and strong
familia! rity of automotive quality and productivity
programs. Candidates must be self-motivated with very
strong documented experience. Excellent communication
skills and the ability to gain the cooperation and
confidence of others are required. Qualified candidates
will exhibit a strong personality and have the ability
to drive programs to success. Individuals should be able
to gain support through communication and confidence
rather than by exerting authority. The ability to think
on your feet and rapidly adjust to changing priorities
is necessary. Prior familiarity with automotive programs
such as TS16949 and Lean Manufacturing is required.
