The Professional Service Delivery Team is looking for a Senior Analytical Consultant to provide analytical and consulting services to current and prospective customers. Our team provides SAS consulting services, including solution development, implementation and closeout at customer sites and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will:
- Provide timely, professional and quality delivery outputs on assigned projects, leveraging expertise in the application of specific SAS technologies, solutions, methodologies, and project experiences.
- Understand, utilize and communicate best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally.
- Leverage detailed technical knowledge to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains including Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations.
- Install SAS software solutions and any required supporting products for knowledge sharing and demonstration purposes as assigned.
- Contribute to detailed technical documentation as required, such as requirements, design, administration and user guides.
- Work and collaborate with others on consulting projects and special projects as assigned.
- May conduct customer sessions for requirements gathering, data discovery, analysis, reporting and presentation.
Required qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in solution architecture, system integration, information systems, or related area of expertise. Must have thorough knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, new technologies, and resources.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of SAS products, architecture, peripheral technologies and implementation best practices
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, decision-making written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Specialized in specific technical area such as security, data management, system integration, business intelligence and/or reporting
- Ability to understand, synthesize, utilize and integrate prevailing external technologies with SAS solutions
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases, scripting languages, open-source programming/design and cloud computing
- Should have clear understanding of data warehousing, data management, system integration and/or dashboard and reporting concepts and best practices.
- Strong facilitation and communications skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Hands-on skills of Cloud and Hadoop Ecosystem, Docker and Kubernetes skills are required.
- Strong Knowledge of HW infrastructure landscape and design is preferred.
- Knowledge of ITILT
- Travel as business requirements dictate at management discretion.
- Experience of a technical team lead or people manger is preferred.
